What we keep, what we show.
Last updated January 1, 2026
Who is responsible
J. P., operator of Are You Millionaire?, reachable at [email protected].
What we collect
- When you pay: the display name, email, message, website, handle, doubt text and amount you enter; the mission you choose; Stripe’s payment identifiers and the email Stripe confirms. Stripe collects your card details directly; we never see them.
- When you file a doubt: the names and message you type, and how many times the link is opened.
- Automatically: standard server logs (IP address, user agent, time, URL) kept for security and debugging, and a session cookie needed for forms to work. We do not run advertising trackers.
What is public
Display name (or “Anonymous”), amount, date, message, website, handle, doubt text, rank, tier, serial number and reign history are published on the site, in share images, in the RSS feed and in the sitemap, so search engines index them. Your email address, IP address and payment identifiers are never published.
Why we process it
To record and display proofs (performance of the arrangement you asked for), to email you a receipt and throne notifications (legitimate interest and your request), to prevent fraud and abuse (legitimate interest), and to meet accounting obligations (legal duty).
Who else sees it
Stripe (payments), our email delivery provider (receipts and notifications), and our hosting provider. Each processes data under its own agreement with us. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Public proof data is kept indefinitely because permanence is the point of the site. Emails are kept while your proof exists. Server logs are rotated within 30 days. Accounting records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to switch your proof to “Anonymous”, or to have a dare naming you disabled. Email us; we answer within 30 days. Deleting a proof entirely may conflict with accounting duties, in which case we anonymize it instead. If you are in the EU or UK you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies
One session cookie and one CSRF token, both essential, both expire when you close the browser or after a few hours. No consent banner is needed because there is nothing to consent to.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it.
